Hi Carol, Many thanks for your congratulations to me and Sandy on the occassion of our Ruby Wedding. Can't believe we are old enough to be married that long! I got quite a kick from the heading on 7th Sep - looks as though I am featuring in the Scottish Seniors along with noteables Jennifer and Barbara. I was so sorry to hear of Kathleen McNeil's death at the end of last week. Kathleen contributed her talents and expertise to many things during her long life, not least to the world of ladies' golf, where her contribution was second to none. It was a pleasure to have known her. She will be sadly missed. |

Hi Carol, Thanks for in-depth reporting from the Spanish Seniors Well done to Fiona for winning the handicap cup. Read about your hole-in-one. Well done. I remember a couple of years ago having a hole-in-one at a County practice match at Ranfurly Castle against the Gents team. It was at the 7th hole ( I have had 3 holes in one - all at hole number 7!!). The drinks changed from fresh orange and lemonades to Gin and Tonics by the time I got back to the clubhouse!
Here's to your next one and hopefully I am there to enjoy the liquid refreshment!!
